125 |Courageous Moms: Choosing Hope in the Face of Fear; Parenting with Confidence

When was the last time you were truly afraid?

I’ve been really scared at times.

Scared someone was going to break into the house while we were sleeping.

Scared I was going to lose another pregnancy.

Scared something would happen to one of our kids while they were off at camp.

It’s easy to position yourself in the mindset of being afraid.

You just begin picturing the worst case scenarios, and the situation in your mind tends to get worse and worse.

It grows.

But the Bible tells us over 365 times not to be afraid.

Seek HOPE.

You are never alone in this journey.

You are strong, capable, and resilient.

He made you this way.

Hope is not just a feeling or emotion that comes to you easily. It’s something you must actively cultivate in your life daily.

You need to surround yourself with positive people, who believe in you and encourage you to keep going, even when things get tough.

Ultimately, HOPE takes work because it requires you to stay committed to your values, and remain open to new possibilities and opportunities.

Take things one day at a time and keep moving forward, even if it’s just one small step at a time. You can do this!

Fear is free but HOPE takes work.

I love you💗

Heather

The Lord is my light and my salvation- whom shall I fear?

The Lord is my stronghold of my life-

Of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalm 27:1
