 Hello!

Heather Pettey (60).png

"Refuse to let fear keep you from living out
God's purpose for your life. When you hold back, play small, and hide behind closed doors, you're not serving anyone. We need your gifts, and we need for you to be brave enough to share them in your home, community, and with the world."

Heather Pettey

Heather is a perfectly imperfect wife of 28 years to David, mom to 4 amazing humans

ages 12  to 26, and lover of Jesus. She's a closet peanut M&M and Goldfish cracker consumer and loves nothing more than a good belly laugh, holiday gathering with family and friends, and sitting on her front porch at sunset. Her greatest joy is watching, along with her husband, God’s plan unfold in their children’s lives and seeing them grow to fulfill His purpose.

She has a true heart for women, and is passionate about encouraging them to remain sane and find joy while parenting teens. The laughter and support happens weekly on her podcast, Life Coach BFF Show. When not speaking, writing, podcasting or curating for CLUB BFF (a membership for Christian moms of teens), she's coaching moms to live confidently, set clear boundaries, and find their purpose while parenting. Heather is also the author of Keep It Simple, Sarah- Powerful Words & Inspiration for Christian Teen Girls. Although, much of her focus is on women's issues, Heather is a huge advocate for children in foster care and a supporter of adoption.

Originally from the Mississippi Delta with a BA in Communications from Mississippi State University, Heather is also a certified etiquette consultant and trained interview and life coach. She helped found the Center for Pregnancy Choices in Meridian, MS, and served as an original board member. Heather also co-founded Meridian Classical Center for Learning, a Christ-centered enrichment program for homeschool families. She has experience establishing connections with communities for corporates and individuals using her expertise in public relations.

Heather has made appearances on CNN Headline News and other media. She believes that life is a long line of lessons, and in her opinion, it’s all about faith and good ol' common sense. Heather happily resides with her family in Memphis, TN.
